Original scouting report of Roger Miller from May 1972. Roger ultimately signed and played with Milwaukee.
Legible text from the subjective description:
Physical description: Loose Live Arm. Only 17.
Abilities: Good prospect. His FB (fast ball) gets there. It moves. Ave control.
Has a nice slider. Throws over hand. Lots of guts. Keeps ball away from hitters.
Weaknesses: Has to work on control with curve ball. Needs to work with a pro
pitching coach on change up.
Summation including chances of signing player: This boy will sign.
He wants to play. No college in site.
He's all baseball. Good tools - A real fine looking kid.
